Deepside Deejays are: Vibearena, Victor de la Pena and Dave Pryce. Being aware of the complexity of the house/club phenomenon, the project started from the desire to come up with something new on the house music scene, being among the first Romanian house music projects that along with David Deejay and Inna invented and sustained the “popcorn” style phenomen. The 3 guys reunited as Deepside Deejays in 2008 and started producing and remixing in their unique style, counting till present over 50 remixes and 20 original singles.
Their first smashing single “Beautiful Days” was successful both in Europe and internationally, in countries such as India, Dubai, Egypt, or Morocco. It reached the number 1 position in Poland, Morocco, India, Greece, Cyprus, Romania, Malta, reached top ten in Sweden, Norway and in the Scandinavian countries and reached top 20 in France and German dance charts.
In 2009 they become a “must” of the international music contests winning the remix competition organised by the electronic music label Toolroom Records, remixing one of the most famous producers and DJs, Dirty South. In January 2009 Deepside Deejays were declared the winners of the Gfab Records contest, remixing “Get Shaky” of the famous producer Ian Carey and only a few days after that, a press release from the well known label Cr2 announced that the Deepside Deejays were “The Overall Winners” in the John Dahlback – Everywhere Remix Competition. Soon after, the boys started working for various Gfab Records projects, such as: Thomas Gold, Soul Avengerz and The Good Guys. In May 2009 Deepside Deejays were declared the “Grand Final Winners” in a competition organized by FOEM in colaboration with Martin Solveig. The winning remix was announced by Martin Solveig himself, during the INOX Festival in France, on 17th of May.
In 2009 they won The Best DJ Award at Romanian Music Awards 2009, being nominated on another two categories: Best Dance and Best New Act and in 2010 they won The Best Featuring Award at Romanian Music Awards 2010 and the Best Dance Project at Nights.ro Awards. Also in 2010 one of the most famous DJs worldwide, Tiesto, gets familiar with their remix for “Don`t Say it`s Over” (of the Romanian artist Alex), and decides to include this remix both in his radio show “Club Life” and in his live acts, contributing to their career`s rising and success.
Deepside Deejays have just closed a deal and obtained a contract in Russia. This consists in a series of concerts and a promotional campaign, interviews and advertising for the most important music channels in Russia, such as Muz TV.

Alex Craciun a.k.a. Vibearena, was born on the 20th of May, 1982, in a small town in Northern Romania, called Piatra Neamt. Since childhood, the artistic bonds took over him, but in the early years of his adolescence he started playing tennis, becoming a pro in a short while and dedicating all his spare time to this sport for the next 14 years. His passion for music was inherited from his father, who used to play him some of the greatest international artists, like Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix or Janis Joplin. At the age of 14, Alex already owned a massive collection of thousands of music tapes. During daytime he studied for school and practiced tennis, but the nights he ran away from home to put music in clubs together with a friend. In 1996 he made his first steps in his musical career, founding several hip-hop bands, and finally, in 1998 he joined Mahsat (Grasu XXL being their producer), together with Maximilian (who continues his successful career nowadays as well) and Houdini. He continued in this formula for 5 years, they released their first album “Laboratoru” and their first music video “O Vorba de pe Strada”. But his real dream was to work in a studio, and so he left the band in 2003, and only 2 years later, in 2005, together with his friend Razvan Alstani, established their first recording studio. The two boys started a new project, Chicanos, which became successful very quickly. But behind this project and behind the studio doors, they worked as well as producers for famous Romanian DJs and created tracks and remixes for various labels on Beatport, from minimal to house progressive. It then became clear for Alex that his hidden passion was house music, being a Tiesto fan ever since he performed in Mahsat. Therefore, in 2008, together with Razvan Alstani a.k.a. Victor de la Pena and Silviu Paduraru a.k.a. Dave Pryce (old friend and studio colleague for the last 3 years), started the Deepside Deejays project and established the Deepside Music independent label.

Razvan Victor Alstani a.k.a Victor De La Pena was born in 1982 in Vulcan, a small provincial town, but still well known for its mining activities. Ever since the age of 5, he learned how to play the accordion and replicate any song that he heard. At 6 years old he began his musical career by studying piano for 18 years. During his musical studies (music school, music highschool and Conservatory) he started as a pianist, later becoming a singing teacher, a lyrical artist (baritone), a composer, and he finally ended up as a component (vocalist) in the Deepside Deejays project. Concerned about the evolution of music, he thoroughly explored its electronic side, until this became one of his most important passions! Electronic music, together with all its related genres, allows musical freedom and complete expression of mind and soul, as one can insert any kind of musical element. How is Victor De La Pena feeling? He is happy because of you, because of music and because of the Deepside Deejays` family (Vibearena & Dave Pryce).

Dave Pryce, a.k.a. Silviu Paduraru, was born in 1982 in a small town from Romania, Bacau. At the early age of 4, he already knew how to play the accordion. During middle school and highschool (which he attended as well in Bacau), he studied piano and clarinet, along with classical music. At the age of 14, he became part of the “Teen Spirits” rock band, a very popular pop rock band in his native town, playing the drums and performing as the opening act for some major bands back then. But life takes him on a new path, as his musical approach changes and he started performing hip hop in 2 well known local bands. Later, in 2000, Dave came to Bucharest and continued his studies at the National Academy of Music. Ever since his freshman year his dream of working at a recording studio came true and starting with 2001 he began writing and producing music (dance, house, rnb, hip hop, etc.) for many important Romanian artists, some of the songs becoming international hits. Inevitably, he finally met his current band members (Vibearena and Victor de la Pena) and they have been known as Deepside Deejays since 2009, working in their own recording studio for their own musical productions and for the projects born at their label Deepside Music, both for Romanian artists and international artists.
